Rooftop Engagement Photoshoot in Downtown San Diego

This shoot with Abby & Fon was straight from my Pinterest Dreams! As San Diego Engagement Photographers, I love to explore and get creative with the different locations I shoot at. Shooting engagement photos in San Diego is so great because you can get city vibes, beaches, and mountains all within minutes of each other. It was a lot of fun to run around downtown San Diego and the city with Abby & Fon for this San Diego engagement photoshoot. 

Modern City Engagement Photoshoot in Downtown San Diego

Abby & Fon live in the gaslamp district so I thought it would be perfect for some city engagement photos. They are Carlsbad natives but they wanted to live in downtown SD for a year to try something new. We started the shoot on the rooftop of their building with the view of the city in the background. After, we shot some photos in their lobby and elevator. The building they live in is so beautiful and totally fits that timeless, classy vibe we were going for. We ended the night with some pizza and flash photos and those turned out to be some of my favorites!

I loved shooting with these two! They were so fun, playful and a joy to work with. The whole evening they would just dance and laugh together. They just showed each other so much love while also teasing each other and laughing along the way! Abby wore the most fun white engagement dress. It was a short puff sleeve dress and was the perfect mix of modern, playful and classy.
