This Mendocino Coast wedding at the most majestic and secluded wedding destination on California’s North Coast was an absolute dream.

The Venue - Switzer Farm Wedding

The venue they chose was Switzer Farm. It is a beautiful restored 1884 Victorian Farmhouse located in Westport, California. Switzer Farm is situated right on the edge of the pacific ocean and has some of the best views from a wedding venue I have ever seen! Trees & the rugged ocean in the same venue are so rare and truly my dream combo. This venue is completely private on a 22-acre lot and private coastal bluffs. It was moody and sophisticated at the same time & fit exactly what the bride and groom envisioned perfectly. 

The Rental includes a 3 day stay at the Victorian Farmhouse which sleeps 20+ guests. This is the perfect way to turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend with all your favorite people. The pictures speak for themselves for this beautiful hidden gem venue on the Mendocino Coast. 

The Wedding Weekend on the Mendocino Coast

Rehearsal Dinner

This wedding weekend started with a rehearsal dinner on the front porch of the Victorian Estate. They ate, drank wine, and gave toasts underneath the string lights with views of the coast. It was a magical evening with their wedding parties and families. After the reception, I took the bride and groom down to the pasture to explore the property and shoot some couples photos. You could just tell they were beaming with excitement! 

Morning of the Wedding

The skies cleared the morning of the wedding day. Lizzie got ready with her gals and had the sweetest first look with her Dad. Then, Tommy & Lizzie met at a private spot on the property for a first look with both of their moms. It was such a special moment. 

Ceremony

After photos with their wedding parties, it was time for the ceremony. We headed to the edge of the property, with panoramic views of the ocean for their sweet wedding ceremony. The sun was shining and it was beautiful. 

Reception

The reception was such a party! They danced all night long with all their wedding guests and families. Tommy and Lizzie even had a bounce house (that the guests LOVED) which showed their fun-loving spirit. 

All the Details

I am still dreaming of the decor and florals at this Mendocino Coast wedding. Amazing floral arrangements, dried citrus, and vintage glassware were the focal point of the wedding decor. It all came together so beautifully. 

Mendocino Coast Wedding Weekend

This wedding weekend was absolutely magical. It was total Pride & Prejudice vibes (my favorite movie) so I felt so creatively inspired the whole weekend! But what stood out to me most was how kind and sweet T + L were. Their love is so tangible and gentle. The way they speak to one another and care for one another is so evident. 

The venue is far up the coast, so everyone who was there was carefully chosen and made the trip to celebrate the couple. You could tell how loved Lizzie & Tommy are and everyone was so excited to be there. I am so grateful I got to be a part of this Mendocino Coast Wedding at Switzer Farm. I truly never wanted this wedding weekend to end!
